Life Choices Lyceum Program

Reintegration12 May 2024

A one-year crash course on how to attain a functioning membership in today’s complex society.  At its most practical level, it provides, upon course completion, the guarantee of a job, access to a decent apartment, a small debit card account and a down payment on a used car - all for the cost of tuition and a one-year commitment to The O.V.A.L Program.

During the one year at the Lyceum, a participant lives on campus initially and, upon meeting goals, he is moved to one of the program’s apartments, which he will share for the duration of the year as he practices the “Ethic”.  The Ethic is what most Americans do: get up, go to work, work and come home; with something most Americans don’t do: receive training on personal, social and ethical development and attend counseling and educational forums designed to enhance, enlighten, and better employ the participants human potential and participate in remedial and developmental skills.

The participants cannot and do not leave the premises without supervisory chaperones in the person of “volunteer mentors” or program personnel.  Weekends bring a variety of activities, including intramural sports, Navy seal modified survival camp training, Working with Horses (therapy), community service projects, agriculture assignments, and of course, Sunday worship services with accommodations made for participants who have other beliefs.  All participants are encouraged to have their families come out on Sunday, the only day visitors are permitted, and to bring a box lunch to share after worship and before the movie and a program sponsored dessert.

The program utilizes a number of educational and therapeutic approaches to reach out to the individual and prepare him to accept his rightful place in the Divine scheme.  Zero tolerance is the rule on fighting, drugs, and insubordination.  Forfeiture of funds paid is an immediate penalty.  Most participants will have signed a note or their support team will have signed a guarantee note which allows the program cost to be paid in advance while the cost is spread over three (3) years in monthly payments.  Once the participant begins work, the monthly payment is taken directly out of his check.

The program will take applicants generally in the age ranges of 18 to 55 that meet the other program requirements, including tuition.
