We target active duty members, generally 22 – 44 years old, six to twelve months prior to the end of their Active Service Contract with the United States Military. We work with the local VA Centers, local Military Installations, military officials to present a year-long program that the Veteran would voluntarily participate in at his own cost. The program is designed to help Veterans transition from military to civilian life, master the necessary trade skills and demonstrate three key performance indicators, as well as any other specific requirements that may be required in an individuals’ case. The key performance indicators are: (1) the implementation of new core social values by the participant and the discipline to maintain them, (2) a willingness to address social and economic responsibilities through a developing work ethic, and (3) a stable performance record that will increase the likelihood of job stability, and reduce the likelihood of homelessness, recidivism and/or recurring homelessness. .
