The OVAL Sustainable Green Housing training program, will provide opportunities for veterans to receive equitable service and entry into the Sustainable Green Construction industry, while building transitional housing units for the veterans enrolled in our many programs. With paths to include: Insulated Concrete Forms, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, solar, clean energy, multi-family maintenance, appliances, building maintenance and general construction. We get veterans job-ready faster and easier than before through our always-on immersive skilled trades training platform.
The program focuses on high-performance building practices, which are a crucial aspect of sustainable construction. Participants will learn to build disaster-resilient buildings with continuous insulation and consistent performance.
Below are the tentative sites for our program. We intend to have one community center and (20) transitional residences by year end 2025.
